By BBN Staff: Crowds gathered yesterday morning at the corner of Regent and Bishop streets for the official launch of Belize Telemedia Ltd.’s new office building “the Digicell Store.”
After a brief ceremony, detailing the functions of the new facility, BTL opened the doors for a short media tour before allowing customers in to browse promotional items and services.
Zellie Tillett, chief customer service officer at BTL, said that the facility was designed to to bring the maximum customer service experience to BTL customers.
Tillett explained that the new facility combines the traditional customer care methods, where customers walk in and sit with a representative, with up to date methods such as an area where customers can instant message a customer service representative via tablet.
Tillett also said that all of the services offered at the Church Street office, such as paying bills, registering phones and updating account information, have been transferred over to the new location, because the company no longer operates at the Church Street location.
