Victim of hit-and-run dies in hospital

By BBN Staff: According to police reports, around 1:30 a.m. yesterday, police visited the Hope Creek area in the vicinity of ITVET (southern Belize) where they saw an injured male person.

The person was a victim of an alleged hit and run accident.

The man was then taken to the Southern Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Police are investigating.
