By BBN Staff: Marcial Toledo, 49, was remanded to prison yesterday after he was accused of fatally stabbing police constable, Marvin Locke.

Toledo was struck to the head with a cement block by an officer who tried to subdue him.

According to reports, he was transported to prison yesterday but he was denied entry because he had no medico-legal form to certify his injuries.

As a result he was taken back to court and escorted back to prison with his legal form.

While he is on remand his family has commented on the matter

Toledo’s children told the media that their father’s wife (their mother) was threatened that if she did not go and live with Locke, Toledo would be killed.

According to the family, upon hearing the threats, they were reluctant to visit the police station as Locke was a cop.

Upon hearing news of the threat, a drunken Toledo pursued Locke in the Raccoon Street police station where the stabbing occurred.
