2 dead, several injured in road traffic accident on Placencia Road

By BBN Staff: We have received credible reports that there was a fatal road traffic accident on the Placencia Road minutes ago.

We are told that a speeding pickup truck overturned on the curve near the Belize Aqua Culture Limited shrimp farm.

According to reports, 12 persons were injured and two have died. We are awaiting an official police confirmation.

This is a developing story and it will be updated when more information is made available to us.
