Staff: The United States Embassy in Belize has launched a campaign advocating against cyber violence.

The use of social media is now a common practice among Belizeans young and old.

The Embassy ‘s campaign is headed with the title “Be bold for change and show cyber respect!”

The Special Envoy for Women and Children, Kim Simplis-Barrow states in the campaign video: “My recommendation to people is whenever you are writing something nasty, your delete button should be your favourite button. Whatever you put out there is there forever.”
