Three men shot on Southside, police makes no arrests

By BBN Staff:Police have not yet made any arrests in the Monday night shootings of three men in the Southside of Belize City.

As we had reported, at around 9:30, Jeffery Martinez, 28, was shot multiple times in front of his yard on Jane Usher Boulevard.

He had been shot once to the left side of the abdomen, the right elbow, and the right leg.

He was rushed to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) where he is listed in a critical condition.

According to our sources, 10 minutes later, two men were shot down on Raccoon Street.

They are Reese Riverol, 24, and Joseph Rowland, 27. While riding on a motorcycle an armed assailant drove up behind them and opened fire.

Rowland was grazed to the leg while Riverol was shot to his right ankle.

They are both listed in a stable condition at the KHMH.

According to police, though no one has yet been charged, investigations are ongoing.
