By BBN Staff: On Thursday afternoon about 1:45, police visited a farm located about (4) four miles from Cowpen Village, Stann Creek where they saw a bungalow house about (21×28) feet with zinc roof top valued at $4, 000.00 completely destroyed by fire.
Victoriano Chacon, 74, a Salvadoran farmer of Cowpen Village and an employee at the farm reported that on Thursday morning around 8, while working he was approached by three male persons who had their faces covered demanding to see Javier.
One of them was armed with a shotgun. They then placed him inside a cement culvert that was outside of the house.
Two of the culprits left the farm leaving the male person who was armed with the shot gun.
The two men then returned and set the house on fire and left.
Javier Orellana, 49, also a Salvadoran farmer of Cowpen is the owner of the farm and the house.
Police investigations continue.
