It is well known and no accident that the roads in Belize are treacherous. While speeding and lack of common sense of the consequences of speeding when operating a vehicle, and driving under the influence of alcohol without regard for human life are factors there is a need for evaluation and a plan for addressing the current highway design problems by qualified engineers. There’s more to building roads than pouring concrete and sand.
