Man charged for rape receives bail

By BBN Staff: A trial farm man accused of carnal knowledge with a 13 year old minor is out on bail as of Friday.

He was able to meet the $7,500 bail in the Supreme Court and is scheduled to return to court on May 4.

Additionally, he must sign in to the Orange Walk police station every Friday.

Last  Wednesday, Sergio Loria  was charged for unlawful sexual intercourse and remanded to prison.

Police investigation revealed that a 13 year old girl and her mother went to Orange Walk Police last Tuesday and reported that Loria had raped the minor.
