Breaking: Bodies of two men pulled from a well

By BBN Staff: This afternoon around 12:40 acting on information received of a man falling into a well, the Fire Department visited a farm at the Goat Hill Area Tower Hill in Orange Walk owned by the Coyoc Family from Trial Farm Village.

According to reports, the fire fighters removed two male persons from a well.

The victims were identified as Isidro Coyoc, 41, Belizean Farmer, and Jeovani Coyoc , 26, a tractor driver, and both of them were in a well about 40 feet deep containing about 4 feet of water unconscious holding on to ropes .

Initial investigation revealed that sometime around 11:30 am, Jeovani Coyoc was cleaning the well but began to suffocate so his brother who was assisting decided to run for help but couldn’t, so he  went into the well to take out his brother but he too suffocated .

Both were transported to the Northern Regional Hospital where they were pronounced dead on arrival.
