Homemade 16 gauge found by police in Belize City

By BBN Staff: Cops on South Side Belize City have taken another gun off the streets and out of the hands of criminal elements. This time, it was a homemade 16 gauge firearm.

According to police reports, at around midday yesterday cops conducted a search in an abandoned lot on Riverside Street in the Saint Martin’s area, which led them to the gun.

No one was found within the immediate area and as a result, the firearm was deposited as “found property”.
