Cayo DJs form new DJ Association

By BBN Staff: Local DJ’s from San Ignacio and Santa Elena have joined hands and formed the Cayo DJ Association.

The group is newly formed and presently comprises of 10 DJ’s. The association was formed on April 2, 2017.

The aim of the association is to work closely with officials to implement a way to forward to improve the music industry and to provide affordable and professional services.

Founder of the group, Amir Rodriguez/ DJ Mesmerize told BBN that he is encouraging other DJ’s in Cayo to join the association. The group also plans to find different ways to eliminate the use of “freejays” and the issue of some DJ’s being underpaid by some establishments.

The DJ’s say that their aim is to provide quality and professional services to all customers.

Interested DJ’s can join by finding them on Facebook at Cayo Deejay Association or by messaging DJ Mesmerize or DJ Diamond.
