Gun and ammo stolen in home burglary in southern Belize

By BBN Staff: According to police reports, yesterday afternoon around 3, 52-year-old Jose Mauricio Hernandez presently residing at Trio Village, Toledo reported that on February, 1st 2017, he left his home village en route to El Salvador.

On February 10th 2017 while Hernandez was in El Salvador, he was informed that someone burglarized his home and stole his 16 gauge shotgun valued at $535.00 along with (8)16 gauge cartridges valued at $24.00 which he had secured in a box.

Police are investigating.
