Agric show sees major turnout

By BBN Staff: According to the Chairman of the National Agriculture Trade Show, Gary Ramirez, around 16,000 persons turned out to the show grounds on Saturday.

He told us that more than another 20,000 people showed up on Sunday.

“Agric is the biggest event in Belize,” he said.

According to Ramirez, there were a 110 new businesses present for this year’s event.

Aside from minor fights and squabbles there were no major incidents reported this year.

“Let’s Get Growing, ” was the theme for this year.

Ramirez told us that at the end of a meeting with Minister/Senator Godwin Hulse, he used that phrase.
