By BBN Staff:Nine families from Biscayne Village who were affected after a freak storm passed through the village are receiving assistance from the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO).

NEMO Minister Edmond Castro was in the village on Saturday to hand over material to members of those families at the Belize District NEMO Office located in Sandhill on the Philip Goldson Highway.

The residents were grateful for the assistance in helping them to rebuild and repair their homes.
