Two people arrested after marijuana growing operation discovered in Crooked Tree

By BBN Staff: Yesterday morning, police arrested and charged two persons for the offense of cultivation of cannabis.

According to reports, police conducted a house search at the residence of 63-year-old Norma Aldana of Crooked Tree Village, Belize District. Also present at the house was 26-year-old David Aldana, construction worker.

The search led to the discovery of 55 cannabis plants ranging from 11 inches to 3 feet 1 inch in height.
