By BBN Staff: Former Minister of State in the Department of Immigration Elvin Penner appeared before the Senate Special Select Committee yesterday.
After he stipulated his own protocol for being at the hearing, Penner stressed that he is not obliged to answer any questions in relation to the infamous Citizen Kim case.
When asked about his involvement with Citizen Kim, Penner’s answers were vague and mostly he couldn’t recall anything important.
Penner repeated during the hearing that they should refer to his opening statements whenever he wouldn’t answer a question. He repeatedly told the Senators that he would not answer those questions.
The disgraced former minister did not reveal anything that could potentially be used for the investigation.
According to reports, Elvin Penner plans to run again for the Cayo Northeast constituency.
