Over $7,000 worth of goods stolen from parked truck

By BBN Staff: Albert Uck, 32, an I.T. Technician of a Raccoon Avenue address in Belmopan, reported that on Saturday, at 1:30 a.m., he and his friend went to a nightclub  located on Newtown Barrack Road in Belize City.

Uck stated that he placed two back packs containing personal items in his friend’s red Dodge Dakota 1999 pickup truck, which was parked near Element nightclub. He reported that the vehicle was properly locked and secured.

On Sunday morning around 3:20, upon returning to the vehicle, Uck noticed both of his back packs were missing. They contained several electronic items and clothing all amounting to a total value of $7,450.

Police are investigating.
