Corozal retiree loses $57,000 to burglars

By BBN Staff: On Sunday, around 11:30 p.m. Elena Esperanza Sanchez, a 66-year-old retiree of Corozal town awoke to find her house had been burglarized.

The culprit/s stole an assorted amount of jewelry, a laptop, cellphones and cash all to a total value of $57,062.

Police are investigating.
