Police hunt man in connection with PG murder

By BBN Staff: According to police reports, Lascelle Martinez, 35, was stabbed multiple times at Corner West and Victoria Streets in Punta Gorda this afternoon.

The ex boyfriend of Tianne Figueroa, Simeon Lino is the suspect.

Lino also went to Figueroa’s residence and reportedly stabbed her and fled the scene.

Figueroa was transported to the Punta Gorda Hospital where her condition is stable.

Martinez passed away.

Police believe that the motive was jealousy; they are now seeking Lino.
