23 Participants to Receive Certificates in the BPO Industry

By BBN Staff:  The Belize Training and Employment Centre (BTEC), a unit of BELTRAIDE held a 3 weeks training in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) field of job preparedness training.

The classes were a unique blend of soft skills, customer service, and technical aspects needed in this industry.

Twenty-three participants (6 males and 16 females) sat the training and are now fully equipped to become a customer service representative at any call center in Belize.

The participants who ranged in ages from 17 to 33 years, all shared a willingness to work hard and an eagerness to learn.

Today ,all 23 participants will receive BTEC’s job preparedness ‘BPO Training’ certificate, which will undoubtedly give them an advantage when seeking employment.

The ceremony starts at 11:00 am at the enterprise room, BTEC Building, ITVET Compound in Belize City.
