Belama home vandalized and set on fire, no injuries or major damage

By BBN Staff: According to police reports, yesterday morning around 3:10, police visited Starfish Crescent, Belama Phase I, Belize City where cops met Andrew Ferguson, a 28-year-old teacher who reported that he was awakened by his wife who said someone had broken glass in the house.

When Ferguson made checks, he noticed that a corner side of the front wall of his house was engulfed in flames and saw a broken bottle and the strong aroma of kerosene.

Ferguson managed to extinguish the fire.

The value of the damage is yet to be ascertained.

Police are investigating.
