Ladyville man survives early morning shooting

By BBN Staff:Police are reporting that this morning a Ladyville man escaped armed assassins.

According to reports, at around 6:39am, Mr. Clive Jones, 30, visited the Ladyville Police Precinct and stated that he was riding his bicycle on Perez Road from work at the 24 “7” Gas Station.

He told police that as he rode his bicycle,  he observed two men persons walking towards him.

When Jones was about twenty feet away one of the men took out a silver handgun and fired a single shot.

The shot tore through Jones’ shirt and grazed him on the right side of his stomach.

He managed to escape by running into some nearby bushes and then made his way to the Ladyville Police Precinct.

His injury was classified as grievous harm. Police are seeking the perpetrator as investigation continues.
