Swarm of bees sting an elderly woman to death in San Ignacio

By BBN Staff: Yesterday around 3 pm, police visited the San Ignacio Hospital where the body of Cruz Raquel Chan, 60, of Trench Town area San Ignacio Town was seen.

Police investigation revealed that Chan was on her way to pick up her son from Arms of Love Primary School in the Kontiki area San Ignacio when she was attacked by a swarm of bees.

The body is presently at the morgue awaiting a post mortem examination.
