By BBN Staff: On Friday, May 26 around 11:24 p.m. ,police visited Carmelita village, Orange Walk along with fire personnel.
Cops observed a green and white cement house 30×40 feet with zinc roof located by the football field in the village, completely destroyed by fire.
Eustace Flowers, the caretaker of the house reported that at 11:00 p.m., the electricity went off and moments later, he saw the building on fire.
The house is owned by Carol Gillette who is presently in the USA.
Police and fire personnel are investigating.
