Boat stolen and recovered in San Pedro

By BBN Staff: Yesterday, Hubert Logan, 36, visited the San Pedro police station and reported that between the hours of 12:30 and 7:00 a.m. someone had stolen his 25-foot blue and white Fiberglass Mexican skiff with the name “NICE & EASY” on both sides. The skiff also had a 115 HP Yamaha engine.

Logan told police that he had docked at his neighbor – Modesto Wade`s dock which is located about 100 feet away from his yard.

Logan made checks in the area and recovered his skiff but noticed that the engine valued at $12,000.00, two 12-volts batteries valued $300and $200 respectively, one bilge pump valued $350, an anchor valued $100, twelve life jackets valued $15 each and a boat rope valued $300 were missing which is a total value of $13,430.

Police are investigating.
