Culprits take $18,000 and .9mm in Corozal

By BBN Staff: Last night around 10:45, Juanito Cowo, 38, and his 19-year-old common-law wife Jessica Mena reported that when they reached home, Mena went to open the door and was held up at gunpoint.

A man told her to get to the ground.

Cowo told police that when he was taking out his 2-year-old baby from the car, someone pulled him out of the vehicle and pointed a gun to his head. The bandit requested money and his firearm.

The thief then took a black bag containing $18,000 in Pesos and US currency. He then searched him and took away his .9mm black Lugar brand firearm valued at $2,800 and  left. Police are investigating.
