Ready Call hangs it up

By BBN Staff: After 12 years, the Ready Call Centre (RCC) is closing its office in Belize with effect from June 28.

According to reports, the announcement was made today during a 2 hour membership meeting. We are told by senior staffers that the United States client was to have renewed its contract with RCC this Friday but it indicated that it would not.

Over 500 workers stand to be affected by this decision and will join the ranks of the unemployed in the weeks ahead.
