By BBN Staff: Yesterday police received information of a house fire in Harmonyville.

When they visited the area between miles 44 and 45 on the George Price highway, they found Lupita’s Store which is a 20 feet by 20 feet wooden structure engulfed in flames.

Graciane Choc, 57, reported that she does not know the value of the house and the items that were destroyed by the fire.

Preliminary investigations by Fire Personnel reveal that the cause of the fire was as a result of candles that were used in the kitchen area.

Police are investigating.
