Belmopan police officers commended for quick response

By BBN Staff: Yesterday, five officers from the Belmopan police formation were commended for their hard work.

On Saturday, a vehicle belonging to Pesticide Control board was stolen along with 4000 Euros.

The officers’ commitment and determination led them to the discovery of the vehicle, recovery of the money and apprehension of the culprit.

The Chief Executive Officer in the Ministry of Agriculture, Jose Alpuche and Commissioner of Police, Allen Whylie celebrated along with the officers and Officer Commanding Belmopan police, Sr. Supt. Howell Gillett.

Gillett commended the officers for their good work and thanked John and Jonathan D’Silva of Bullfrog Inn for providing lunch for them.
