By BBN Staff: According to police reports, yesterday morning about 12:02 , a police officer attached to the San Ignacio Police Station parked a blue Ford F-150 pickup truck on King Street, San Ignacio in front of the San Ignacio Police Station.
A brown Chevy Silverado pickup driven at the time by Eugene Flowers, 36, of Santa Elena collided into the back of the blue Ford F-150 Pickup.
The police pickup truck received damages to its tail gate, left tail light and to the left, rear portion.
The impact caused the Ford F-150 to collide into the a lamp post a few feet away causing extensive damages to its front portion.
Flowers was accompanied by Joel Sierra, 27, and Luis Garcia, 27, from Santa Elena. All three occupants of the Chevy Silverado pickup truck sustained head and body injuries.
Flowers could not produce a driver’s License at the time and was detained pending charges of ‘drove motor vehicle without due care and attention’; ‘drove motor vehicle with alcohol concentration above the prescribed limit’; ‘failed to produce driver’s license’ and ‘drove unlicensed motor vehicle’.
