Charges against PUP leader dropped

By BBN Staff: Orange Walk Central Area Representative, John Briceño, will no longer have to appear before the Orange Walk Magistrate in connection with an alleged traffic mishap in February of 2015.

Christopher Hendricks, the driver of former UDP Deputy Leader, Gaspar Vega, had claimed that the PUP leader drove over his foot while in a gold Toyota Land Cruiser Prado.

However, the PUP leader claimed that the accident never happened.

On Monday, the charges of Negligent Harm, Failure to Report an Accident and Driving a Vehicle without Due Care and Attention were dropped against Briceno.
