By BBN Staff: There is a case of burglary coming out of the San Ignacio/Santa Elena police jurisdiction.
24-year-old Johnny Alexander Gonzalez, a Secretary at Eden Primary School in Santa Elena, told police that between the hours of 4:45 p.m. on Monday and 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday the school was broken into.
Several electronic items including laptops and other items valued at over $7,000.00 were stolen.
Culprits made their way through Gonzalez’s office and obtained keys to the other classrooms.
The entry was through his office after which the keys for the classrooms were taken.
Police is seeking the assistance of the community to solve this crime.
Cops have advised, “NOT to buy stolen goods as it is a serious crime.”
Police investigation continues.
