Shyne Barrow launches Music Scholarship

By BBN Staff: Yesterday, Belize’s Music Ambassador Shyne Barrow launched a full scholarship opportunity for students wishing to pursue an Associate degree in Music at Saint John’s College Junior College (SJCJC) in Belize City.

The degree is new to the institution and Barrow says that he is ecstatic that the school decided to offer a degree in music which is the first of its kind in Belize.
“This is a dream come true. This is what I mean when I say we need to bind together as a nation to develop our Musicians,” Barrow said.

Barrow thanked the President of SJCJC for the partnership which will not only allow for those talents who urgently need financial aid to get this music degree but will also see summer mentorship programs for youths in at risk communities.
