Businessman robbed in Belize City

By BBN Staff: Quan Pan Chan, a 42-year-old businessman of St. Thomas Street, Belize City reported to police that around 4:10 p.m. on Saturday, he was on the second floor of the building adjacent to his home and he was approached by a man.

The man pulled out a handgun and pointed it at him.

The perpetrator reportedly instructed him to get on the floor and then stole his iPhone 6 valued at $1,600 and $1,000 in cash all to a total value of $2,600.

Police are investigating.
