Erwin Contreras tours SIF Projects

By Delroy Cuthkelvin: Minister Erwin Contreras is currently on a nationwide tour and inspection of projects implemented by the government of Belize through the Social Investment Fund (SIF), some recently completed; others in progress.

Some of the projects inspected by the Minister on the most recent leg of this tour include, the Leigh Richardson Learning Center (extension to the Samuel Hyanes Institute of Learning (Pickstock, Belize City); Gwen Lizarraga High School Workshop Building; Maskall Water System; Grace Primary School Extension; Frank’s Eddy Primary School Rehabilitation; and Belmopan Kuxlin Ha Preschool and Primary School Buildings in the Belmopan area.
Contreras has ministerial responsibility for the Social Investment Fund. At the end of the minister’s tour, he will update Cabinet and the Nation on execution of projects completed, progress of those currently underway, and plans for future projects.
