Update on Santa Elena murder

By BBN Staff: Last night San Ignacio police responded to reports of shots fired in an area on the Eastern side of the Novelo’s Convention Center near Loma Luz Boulevard in Santa Elena, Cayo.

On the scene police found the lifeless body of Maynor Portillo of Santa Elena Town with gunshot wounds to the head.

BBN is not aware if any suspect has been detained and no motive was provided in the police report.

Police investigations continue.
