Guatemalan businesswoman robbed in Belize City

By BBN Staff: Vilma Ritilia Chep, 42, a Guatemalan businesswoman who resides in Belize City reported to police that on Sunday, June 18th 2017 about 3:45 a.m., while almost reaching her home, she felt someone hold her around her neck and demanded her belonging.

The assailant searched her and took away her purse containing personal documents, $150.00 in cash, and an assortment of gold and silver jewelry, all to a total value of $2,150.00.

Police are investigating.
