It is Belmopan, not Belmopan City. There is no other place named Belmopan for you to be specifying “City”. Orange Walk City is correct, because we need to specify when talking about the city, and not the district of the same name. Likewise is New York City, Guatemala City, Belize City. Learn and apply.

  2. Carlos says:

Last I heard, Orange Walk was declared a city. Whether some settlements, such as Orange Walk City and Belmopan, qualify to be called cities is another matter for discussion.
