750 students graduate from Gang Resistance training in Cayo

By Zoila Palma: Yesterday, a total of 750 primary school students graduated from the Gang Resistance Education and Training ( GREAT) Program in San Ignacio Town.

Officer Commanding San Ignacio Police, Supt. Richard Rosado indicated that “This is a testament to the formation’s commitment to the expansion of the Commissioner of Police community outreach programs.”

Rosado thanked the parents, the United States Embassy and Cpl. Ciriaco Medina.

Cpl Medina is the officer in charge of the GREAT program in the primary schools in the San Ignacio area.

Rosado also thanked the officer in charge of Community policing Cayo, Cpl. Jason Jones for his hard work  in promoting and expanding the Department community outreach programs

Police week programs end with a parade tomorrow morning and a luncheon in the afternoon to honor outstanding citizens and exemplary officers.
