On Friday the 16th day of June, 2017 at the Orange Walk Magistrate’s Court, nine (9) drivers plead guilty to the offences and were fined $200.00 plus $5.00 cost of court for each offence, in default 2 months imprisonment.
The Department of Transport continues assure the general public that all bus operators and drivers who risk the safety of passengers will be held accountable for their actions and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Drivers and other road users are hereby reminded to comply with the rules of the road and other Traffic Laws of Belize.
