Police issue official report on downtown Belize City murder

By BBN Staff: Jermaine Franklin, 36, was killed on Wednesday night in downtown Belize City.

On Wednesday around 6:00 p.m., police visited King Street in Belize City where they found Franklin on the street dead in front of Teddy’s Music and DVD Rental.

Investigations revealed that Franklin was inside the shop when a man walked inside and fired several shots at him.

He was hit in the back.

Police were able to quickly detain the suspected killer. However he has not been charged yet.
