Domestic dispute ends in woman stabbing common law husband

By BBN Staff: A domestic dispute on Friday night in Dangriga has left one man with multiple stab wounds.

According to police reports, Thompson Orlando Guttierez, 28, “was seen with a stab wound to the left lower back and a stab wound to the left upper chest area.”

Police investigations revealed that he and his common law wife, Lucia Can, 24, were having a domestic dispute when she got angry and inflicted the injuries.

Lucia Can, a domestic worker from the Valley of Peace community, is presently detained pending charges.

Guttierez is currently hospitalized.
