/>By BBN Staff: The Department of Rural Development (DRD) informs residents of Bullet Tree Village that there will be no access to potable water throughout the course of the day.
According to a DRD press release, the pump house is currently experiencing high voltage, and as a result the pump burned, causing the flow of water to stop.
Belize Electricity Limited has completed their inspection and is working towards fixing the situation, thereafter a new pump will be installed and water will be restored.
A water truck will be dispatched today in the area to assist residents with water until the issue has been fixed.
You can contact the Chairman of the village at 668-4090 if you have any questions or concerns.
