By BBN Staff: After more than a year, the Northern Regional Hospital has received a new operating theater.
Yesterday a ceremony was held to open the new urgently needed building.
CEO in the Ministry of Health, Ramon Figueroa and former Cabinet Minister, Gaspar Vega were both in attendance.
After missing as many as 7 house meetings following the scandal at the land’s department with his son, the media was surprised to see Vega, the undefeated Orange Walk North Area Representative at the event.
The operating theater was funded by the Government of Belize.
