By BBN Staff: The International Cooperation and Development Fund (TaiwanICDF) is dedicated to boosting socio-economic development, enhancing human resources, and promoting economic relations in a range of developing partner countries.
They also offer humanitarian assistance and provide aid in the event of natural disasters or international refugee crises.
Every year, Taiwan ICDF awards scholarships to students from around the world to study in Taiwan.
This year 19 fortunate Belizean students made it to the list: Yeimi Magali Argueta, Darwin Eduardo Ceron, Preeti Manoj Nandwani, Victoria Pixabaj, Aurel Peter Lewis, Tanisha Diane Benjamin, Robin Simone Gray, Jhonatan Feliciano Amaya, Devon Toy Ramos, Erin Ashley McCoy, Joedy Simone Ojeda, Reynaldo Javier Lisbey, Leandra Lynae Flowers, Jairo Magdaleno Gregorio, Brian Estuardo Samayoa, Allen Eden Martinez, Anwah Radech Young, Aaleyah Bree Brown, and Gregory Mikael Ermoff
The scholarship recipients are travelling to the country to earn their Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in different fields.
Taiwan ICDF listed out programs of studies ranging from Medicine, International Business and Trade, Educational leadership, Aquaculture technology, Agribusiness, Tropical Agriculture and Mechanical Engineering.
