By BBN Staff: Last night, the United States Embassy in Belize celebrated the 241st anniversary of independence for the USA.
Charge d ‘Affaires Adrienne Galanek hosted distinguished guests including Governor General, Sir. Colville Young among others.
Dr. Paul Whisnant was also present at the celebration.
Whisnant was named Humanitarian Ambassador of Belize by the Government of Belize this year. Whisnant is the founder of International Servants organization.
The organization is a non-profit Christian mission that brings hope to the children and families of Belize.
Whisnant works with Ministries: Belizean Churches, Children’s Ministry, Feed-A-Child Center, Medical Mission, Save-A-Child’s Life program, Orphan Ministry and Belize Mission Trips.
Dr. Paul serves as the Belize Mission Director and oversees the Belizean Pastors, Missionaries and Belize Mission Trip Volunteers.
This month, Whisnant hosted 70 volunteers from Georgia and Alabama serving in Belize. The team helped desperately poor patients with severe pain in a Dental Mission Clinic, teaching 100’s of kids about Jesus, and working on his Feed-A-Child Farm and village Church.
