Four Corozal men busted for trafficking weed

By BBN Staff: Four Corozal men have been charged with drug trafficking after they were busted with weed over the weekend.

According to police reports, at around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, police Quick Response Team (QRT) and Special Branch personnel intercepted and searched a gold Chevy Equinox traveling from Orange Walk to Belize City.

A search of the rear seat of the vehicle led to the discovery of three parcels of cannabis wrapped in transparent plastic which amounted to a total of 27.94 kg.

The occupants of the vehicle: Joshua Hall, 19; George Franzua, 38; Randolph Crawford, 21; and  Jose Worrell, 20, were all arrested and charged.
