“Boots” and “Clear Di Land” to testify today

By BBN Staff: Information to BBN is that two Cabinet Ministers will appear before the Senate Select Committee today.

The first is Port Loyola Area Representative, Anthony “Boots” Martinez.

Last week he showed up to the hearing but the committee wasn’t quite ready for him and so he was rescheduled.

“Boots” was named by Whistleblower, Alvarine Burgess, as one of the persons involved in a visa hustle.

Also named by Burgess was Belize Rural North Area Representative, Edmund “Clear Di Land” Castro.

Burgess had told the committee that “Clear the Land” was pulled into the hustle led by police officer, Rochelle Chan, because Chan’s brother-in- law, Elvin Penner, who was part of the hustle had gotten too “greedy”.

“Clear Di Land” and “Boots” are the first Cabinet Ministers to appear before the committee.
