Guatemalan chef robbed at home in Roaring Creek

By BBN Staff: Yesterday, police visited the Western Regional Hospital where Axel Ibarra, 32, Guatemalan Chef reported that sometime around 4:30 a.m., he was inside his room in Roaring Creek village when two men entered and started to punch him to his face and then inflicted several chop wounds to his head.

Ibarra reported that he recognized both men to be Jose Juarez and Richard Trapp of St Mathews Village.

 Ibarra further stated that he fell and Trapp started to stamp him on his face.

Both assailants then searched his pockets taking $400.00.

Both men then made good their escape.

Police have since detained 30-year-old Jose Juarez and 34-year-old Richard trap both construction workers of Saint Matthews Village pending investigation.
